Keeping an indoor pet can be a challenge. You have to work extra hard to keep your place tidy and smelling fresh.

Although, you may allow your pets to sleep in the bedroom there does not have to be a collection of hair in your bed. If your pets sleep on the bed with you, keep a special blanket to put over your own bedding at night for the animals to lay on. In the morning, when making the bed fold up the animal’s blanket and store it in the closet especially if you are entertaining. It is acceptable to leave the blanket on the bed while you are away at work for the day because there is no way to tell where our pets are when we are not around.

Also consider introducing a floor bed for your pet, this is the best thing I ever did! And even if you think they won’t use it…they will!
