Living in an apartment in Beaufort, SC can often seem like living in a scene from a great movie. In Beaufort, there is so much to look at, and so much to do, and February is no exception.

Come enjoy yourself at Bands, Brews & BBQ - a South Carolina Barbeque Association cook-off event hosted by Port Royal.

Bands, Brews & BBQ, on Friday, February 24th, and Saturday, February 25th, in downtown Port Royal will benefit Friends of Caroline Hospice, a charity that has provided care to Beaufort, Port Royal & the Sea Islands for over 30 years!

A Wing Throw Down Party will be held on Friday 6-9pm with live music and various wings from area restaurants. On Saturday there will be a cook-off in Ribs and Butts and live music from local bands.

Grab some friends and bring your appetite, because you get to try all you can eat of the best BBQ the Beaufort area has to offer. Bands Brews & BBQ will become a Lowcountry fan favorite.

The Beaufort area has plenty to do. You can eat, shop, watch live music or just relax on the water. In Beaufort you get all this with a down home, community feel.

All summer, residents of homes and apartments in Beaufort, SC who are fans of live music have been able to enjoy the StreetMusic series in Port Royal. This year's StreetMusic series was a celebration of American Roots music.

It is that time of year, and the final concert of the season will be on September 24th. The free concert takes place on Paris Avenue in Port Royal at 6 pm. The concert features Woody Pines, a ragtime, viper jazz and country blues group.  Here is a sample of his music. 



Good news though, through the month of October, ARTworks will feature a low-cost live concert every Friday night.

In the Town of Port Royal where old fashioned fun is the style in the streets of the Old Village has numerous shopping and dining choices. Join us for a festival fun day with our famous "Soft Shell Crabs", food and craft vendors, entertainment and lots of other venues. Admission is FREE!

There will be plenty of soft shell crab and you can enjoy them any way you like them, plus burgers, BBQ and more; including icy cold beverages on tap. Visit our local shops and stop by to see your favorite festival artisans and crafters.  You will also see classic cars, explore the Estuarium to learn how a healthy estuarine system makes it possible to enjoy the bounty of crab and seafood found in our local waters. Take a walking tour of the town, including the Port Royal Museum, housed in the historic Union Church.
